I rode my first 100 miles on the Saturday sportive at Bike Bath. I spent two months trying to get ready for it and I was riding further and further each week. It was so tough, but it was a great day. The route was really clear and the food stations were perfect. In hindsight I spent too long at them, but at the time I needed to rest. So happy that I made it round, although taking on another 100 miles on Sunday would have been too much for me. Maybe next year. Thanks for your talk on the Friday. I kept hearing it in my head during the climb up Cheddar Gorge.
