Its been an eventful bit of the trip, which is why the updates have dried up. But I’l try and pick off where we left, and try to remember the main events.

Glencoe was a tough one for Ben. He had a massive bonk about 10miles from the rest stop, and fortunately rolled downhill to the support van. Arrived at the support van shattered, but picked up a little with a massage and loads of support messages. Fortunately the weather was kind, and we continued into the highlands. After Loch Lomand (where Will and Ben managed to take some bloke on the road) we had a couple of worries, with flat tyres on the van (making 3 in total for the trip!), fixed by Ben Allen.

Last night was a tough one, Bens getting really tired now, and it shows most as the sun goes down. He had his sleep at 4am, as he was starting to fall asleep on the bike. Tony has some brilliant stories of Ben out on the bike. He said at one point he told Tony to go ahead, because he was slowing us all down. Tony persuaded him he didn’t want to ride on my own, and we had all sort of come to see him anyway, so maybe we could all ride together for a bit? He normally picks up in the morning.

Ben has some serious concerns about his legs today,  which is why we managed to get a physio session for him  After coming in from the Lake district to Lancaster he

Scotland had some amazing scenery, but we were all pretty ecstatic leaving it in Gretna Green, for the home country! It seems like were eating up the miles at the moment, and everyone is getting ready for a big night tonight, going down through the midlands, wales and into tomorrow crossing the River Severn back to the WestCountry!

The team are all coping with lack of sleep in different ways. Personally, I cant concentrate, which is probably why this message is a bit disjoint. But some of us (lie Ben Allen) seem to be able to go on only 2hrs a day, and refuse to go to even when ordered.

Keep sending the messages, its great being able to tell him when we stop that theres 80 new messages on the site, it really keeps him going.
